WHY I’M RUNNING ↓01 / A LITTLE ABOUT NIKKI
Nikki Csek, pronounced “Check,” was born in Penticton and spent parts of her childhood in Alberta, Manitoba, Texas, North Dakota, and Nebraska before choosing Kelowna as home in 1998.
Here, she raised a family, built businesses, served community organizations, and worked alongside thousands of people who care deeply about this city. Those experiences have shaped how she leads.02 / EXPERIENCE IN ACTION

As founder and CEO of Csek Creative and NowMedia Group, Nikki has helped hundreds of organizations grow, navigate change, and communicate more effectively. Building businesses taught her to make difficult decisions, balance priorities, and be accountable for results.

Her career has given Nikki a front-row seat to local business, entrepreneurs, non-profits, municipalities, tourism organizations, developers, and industry leaders.

Boards and advisory committees have reinforced the principles Nikki will bring to Council: transparency, accountability, financial responsibility, and thoughtful decision-making.
These are not just titles. They represent years spent building, showing up, and contributing to the community Nikki calls home.

Leadership is stewardship.
For years, people have encouraged Nikki to run for public office. She believed there would come a time when her experience, relationships, and perspective could be of greater service. That time is now.
Kelowna is growing quickly. Growth brings opportunity and difficult decisions. Those decisions deserve leaders who ask thoughtful questions, listen carefully, and seek practical solutions that serve today’s residents and future generations.
Nikki is not running because she believes she has every answer. She is running because the community already has many of them. Your experiences matter. Your ideas matter.
