INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you contact the campaign, volunteer, register for an event, share feedback, or make a campaign contribution, we may collect information including:

• Your name

• Email address and telephone number

• Residential or mailing address

• Volunteer interests, comments, or event information

• Campaign contribution amount and payment status

• Information required to confirm eligibility under Elections BC rules

HOW YOUR INFORMATION IS USED

The campaign may use your information to:

• Respond to your questions or requests

• Coordinate volunteers and campaign activities

• Process event registrations and campaign contributions

• Send requested campaign communications

• Maintain records required by Elections BC

• Meet legal, financial, and reporting obligations

CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTIONS

Campaign contributions may only be accepted from eligible individuals. Contributor information is collected and retained to comply with Elections BC requirements.

If cumulative contributions total $100 or more, the contributor’s name and contribution amount will be publicly disclosed through Elections BC. Local campaign contributions are not eligible for tax receipts.

PAYMENT PROCESSING

Credit card payments are securely processed through Stripe and GoHighLevel. The campaign does not directly receive or store complete credit card numbers.

SHARING YOUR INFORMATION

Personal information is not sold or rented. It may be shared only with authorized campaign team members, service providers supporting campaign operations, Elections BC or other parties when disclosure is legally required.

INFORMATION SECURITY AND RETENTION

Reasonable safeguards are used to protect personal information. Information is retained only as long as necessary for campaign operations and applicable legal, financial, and reporting requirements.

YOUR CHOICES

You may request access to your personal information, ask for a correction, or unsubscribe from campaign communications at any time. Some financial records must be retained when required by law.
