Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Nikki Csek’s campaign website and its forms, event registrations and contribution services.

USING THIS WEBSITE

By using this website, you agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not interfere with its operation, security or availability.

Campaign information is provided for general public information. Reasonable efforts are made to keep it accurate and current, but content may be corrected or updated as the campaign develops.

CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTIONS

Campaign contributions may be accepted only from eligible individuals. To contribute, you must be a resident of British Columbia and a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

You must contribute as an individual using your own funds. Contributions cannot be made on behalf of an organization or another person, and you must not be reimbursed for a contribution.

Your total contributions to this campaign in 2026 must not exceed $1,429.70. You are responsible for considering any earlier contributions when confirming that a new contribution remains within the annual limit.

The campaign records the full amount contributed before payment processing fees. Contributions totalling $100 or more are publicly disclosed by Elections BC using the contributor’s name and contribution amount. Local campaign contributions are not eligible for tax receipts.

PAYMENTS

Credit card payments are processed securely through Stripe and GoHighLevel. Electronic transfers must be sent from an account belonging to the contributor.

A contribution is complete only after the payment has been successfully processed and received in the campaign account. The campaign may contact a contributor to verify information, correct a record or address a payment that cannot lawfully be accepted.

CONTRIBUTION CORRECTIONS AND REFUNDS

If you believe a contribution was made in error, contact the campaign promptly at [email protected]. Any correction, return or refund will be handled by the campaign’s financial agent in accordance with applicable Elections BC requirements and payment provider rules.

EVENTS AND TICKETS

Event details, ticket prices, capacity, accessibility information, and any event-specific cancellation or refund terms will be stated on the applicable event page or confirmation.

Events may be changed, postponed, or cancelled when circumstances require it. If an event is changed or cancelled, the campaign will communicate available options to registered attendees using the contact information provided.

A ticket purchase may be treated as a campaign contribution when required by Elections BC rules. The purchaser is responsible for providing accurate attendee and contributor information when requested.

FORMS AND COMMUNICATIONS

You agree that information submitted through campaign forms is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Submitting a form does not guarantee volunteer placement, event admission, access to campaign resources, or any particular response.

You may unsubscribe from campaign communications at any time. Transactional, administrative, or legally required messages may still be sent when necessary.

PRIVACY

Personal information is handled as described in the campaign’s Privacy Policy. Payment card information is processed by the payment provider and is not directly stored by the campaign.

THIRD PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS

This website may link to or use services operated by third parties, including Stripe, GoHighLevel, Google and social media platforms. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. The campaign is not responsible for the content or availability of third party websites.

CAMPAIGN CONTENT

Unless otherwise stated, campaign text, graphics, photographs and branding may not be copied, modified or used for commercial purposes without permission. Sharing links to publicly available campaign pages and posts is permitted.

AVAILABILITY AND LIMITATION OF RESPONSIBILITY

The campaign cannot guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, or free from technical errors. To the extent permitted by law, the campaign is not responsible for losses resulting from reliance on outdated information, temporary service interruptions, or third-party services outside the campaign’s control.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

These terms may be updated when campaign services, legal requirements, or website functions change. The current version will be posted on this page.
