Experience

Three decades of learning. A lifetime of serving.

For more than 30 years I've worked alongside business owners, community organizations, governments, educators, and volunteers to help solve problems, build partnerships, and create opportunities.

Those experiences have shaped how I lead and how I hope to serve Kelowna.

Leadershiop in Practice

Business & Entrepreneurship

  • As founder and CEO of Csek Creative and NowMedia Group, I've helped hundreds of organizations grow, navigate change, and communicate more effectively. Building businesses has taught me how to make difficult decisions, balance priorities, and remain accountable for results.

Community Leadership

  • I've served on boards, chaired organizations, volunteered on community initiatives, and worked alongside people committed to making Kelowna stronger. Some of my most meaningful work has happened around boardroom tables where different perspectives needed to come together.

Economic Development

  • My career has given me a front-row seat to the opportunities and challenges facing local businesses. I've worked with entrepreneurs, non-profits, First Nations, municipalities, tourism organizations, developers, and industry leaders to support economic growth across British Columbia.

Governance

  • Good governance isn't about politics, it's about stewardship.

Serving on boards and advisory committees has reinforced the importance of transparency, accountability, financial responsibility, and thoughtful decision-making. Those principles would continue to guide every decision I make.

Service & Awards

  • King Charles III Coronation Medal Recipient

  • Past President, Kelowna Chamber of Commerce

  • CEO, NowMedia Group

  • Founder, Csek Creative

  • Women of the Year Finalist

  • Member, COEDC Advisory Committee

  • Board Member, Mamas for Mamas

  • Performing Arts Task Force

  • SOPA, Caban and Aqua Strata Council

  • Airport Advisory Committee

Experience shapes perspective. Service shapes leadership.

Why I'm Running

Leadership is stewardship.

For years people have encouraged me to run for public office.

I always believed there would come a time when my experience, relationships, and perspective could be of greater service.

That time feels like now.

Kelowna is growing quickly.

Growth brings opportunity, but also difficult decisions.

Those decisions deserve leaders willing to ask thoughtful questions, listen carefully, and seek solutions that serve both today's residents and future generations.

I don't pretend to have every answer.

But I care deeply about asking thoughtful questions.

Because difficult questions lead to better decisions.

"Communities thrive when people feel heard."

Purpose. Values. Stewardship.

Leadership isn't about having all the answers.

It's about remaining curious, listening carefully, and having the courage to make thoughtful decisions.

That's the kind of leadership I hope to bring to Kelowna.
